Turnaround Time
Our prints came in 5 days in a lightweight sleeve, wrapped in a paper envelope. We felt that our prints could have used more reinforcements, dotPhoto being the only site whose prints did not come in a cardboard envelope.
Quality
Our prints had a very soft focus and looked a little pixilated, all of which was printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Our pictures came out brighter than the original, which made the picture more vibrant.
Our Recommendation
Although dotPhoto sent us average quality prints, we weren’t too discouraged since we took advantage of the 50free prints deal after the free signup! Our prints looked pixilated, so we think the other services that dotphoto offers is more valuable. Through dotPhoto, you’ll have all the resources to put photos on clothing, office supplies, frames, Food & Wine and many more. Our favorite feature is how you are able to print your pictures on chocolate! Not only is it unique and sweet, its also delicious!
If you decided to signup with dotPhoto, make sure you log on at least once every 120 days, or else your account will be deactivated and your photos will be removed. Unfortunately, shipping costs are very pricey compared to other sites. Overall, dotPhoto’s picture qualities aren’t as good as their competitors, but if you want to create an extra one of a kind gift, we suggest you do it with dotPhoto. Maybe they put all their extra efforts in their personalized products than their prints!
